Nick joined the McLardy McShane Group as CFO in September 2021 having spent the past three years with the Guild Group, an APRA regulated Financial Services Group of Companies that specialise in General Insurance, Superannuation, Legal and IT solutions.

Prior to working at Guild Nick spent 5 years abroad working in London for BDO in the Financial Services team. He then secured a role at Lloyds of London broker, Integro Insurance Brokers, serving as Group Financial Controller.

Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Melbourne working for BDO East Coast Partnership, specialising in Internal and External audit. In 2011 he was seconded to the New York City office.

Nick has also held a number of consulting and advisory roles both within Financial Services and external to FS – technology, manufacturing and retail to name a few.

Nick is responsible for financial operations of the McLardy McShane Group, with a focus on ensuring the financial performance for the Group meets expectations.

Nick is also an avid Carlton supporter and so is his wife Sarah and their 9-month-old baby girl, Scarlett.
