Formerly McLardy McShane Commercial, the move to Specialty marks an exciting evolution for the business - bringing together deep industry experience, strong client relationships and an increasing focus on risk management, technology and innovation.

At the helm is Dave Stott, who brings 30 years of insurance experience to the business. Beginning his career with five years in underwriting before moving into broking, Dave has worked across a broad range of industries, clients and risks throughout his career.

His experience includes building a broking office on the Gold Coast from the ground up, founding and running his own broking business in Melbourne, leading teams and working with international clients across USA, Europe and Asia.

It’s this breadth of experience that is helping shape the direction of McLardy McShane Specialty.

While traditional broking and personal relationships remain at its core, Dave and the team are also looking at how technology and innovative risk management tools can help clients better understand, manage and respond to risk.

Backed by the strength and resources of McLardy McShane, while retaining the hands-on service and relationships Dave and his team are known for, we’re excited to see what’s ahead for McLardy McShane Specialty.
